News: Real don’t need Adebayor – Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has dismissed a return to the Bernabéu for Emmanuel Adebayor, claiming the club did not need another forward.
Adebayor is massively outfavoured at Manchester City and the striker announced that a return to Real Madrid would be favourable, where he spent last season on loan scored 5 goals in 14 appearances.
However, Ronaldo insisted that the Spanish Giants did not need another forward. He spoke about the situation whilst on pre-season tour in Guangzhou, China. “I don't think that we need to sign another forward. We are happy with the line-up as it is already.”
Real have more than enough forwards, such as Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuain and Cristiano Ronaldo, all of which is some way have been linked with a move to Manchester City. Madrid have also just added Spanish midfielder/strike Jose Maria Callejon to their collection of forwards.
Mourinho last month said that he was looking to bring in another forward, but Adebayor still remains with City, despite being linked with a move to Madrid, Spurs and Bayern Munich.
Adebayor’s future still remains unclear, but he is very unlikely to play his football at Manchester City in the new season. He has made it very clear that he his unhappy at the club, having fallen out of Mancini’s first team plans and has been fined heavily by the club for trying to organise a boycott of training and also for not turning up for training two times in a row.
